Words of wisdom: (I am going to carry 14 sayings below) The newest one will always appear at the top, replacing the one that drops off at the bottom)
I once prayed to god for a bike, but quickly found out he didnt work that way…so I stole a bike and prayed for his forgiveness.
Clever people master life; the wise illuminate it and create fresh difficulties.
There's a fine line between numerator and denominator.
There was the person who sent ten puns to friends, with the hope that at least one of the puns would make them laugh. No pun in ten did.
Two hydrogen atoms meet.. One says, 'I've lost my electron.' The other says 'Are you sure?' The first replies, 'Yes, I'm positive.'
Two Eskimos
sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Unsurprisingly
it sank, proving once again that you can't have
your kayak and heat it too.
A fox
boards an airplane, carrying two dead rabbits. The stewardess looks at him and
says, 'I'm sorry, sir, only one carrion allowed per
passenger.'
If you jumped off the bridge in Paris, you'd be in Seine .
When cannibals ate a missionary, they got a taste of religion.
In a democracy it's your vote that counts. In feudalism it's your count that votes.
A backward poet writes inverse.
The soldier who survived mustard gas and pepper spray is now a seasoned veteran.
I wondered why the golf ball kept getting bigger. Then it hit me.
Two hats were hanging on a hat rack in the hallway. One hat said to the other: 'You stay here; I'll go on a head.
NEWS: I am going to post my comments and observations here rather than on the NEWS page as most people enter the site from this page.
1/29/12 - My goodness but time flies. I apologize for the lack of updates but we were overtaken by a nasty flu that commenced on Boxing Day and only now is starting to make its exit. And we were lucky, I've heard of people who were 8 or more weeks before recovery! Nasty piece of work! Fortunately the number of visitors has not been influenced by the flu season. I just checked and we are now sitting at 40,234 visitors. I'm beginning to sense that 50,000 is not all that far off! There isn't much news to report other that the very, very fickle weather! The temperatures globally are acting like the proverbial toilet seat, up and down, up and down! The West Central Rage juniors show more consistency but unfortunately, not of the positive kind as they are currently on a 5 game losing street. And it can be painful as last night they lost to Prince Albert in overtime by a score of 6-5. To try and set a happier tone I have refreshed the contents of the HUMOR page.
1/11/12 - Updated Ernie Klassen's email in CONTACTS. Also, the Rage won the first the New Year by a score of 4-3 over Prince Albert. The rage is now 6 points (2 wins) behind Prince Albert but has 3 games in hand. The first of these games is tonight against the Southern Rebels in Assiniboia. As soon as I learn the score I'll post it here.
1/5/12 - I wish you all a very happy and healthy 2012. (I emphasize the healthy 'cause I got hit by a wicked flu in Boxing day and am still battling its effects!) I noticed that there haven't been a lot of hits during the holidays so to most visitors the content should still be fresh. By next weekend I will probably refresh at leats the HUMOR page, and possibly update some more of the SOFTWARE links. And, we did break the 40,000 visitors mark!
12/24/11 - On this eve of Christmas I'd like to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Enjoy the holiday! Not much news to report - we're within 22 hits of reaching the 40,000 visits mark. The Rage are off until after the New Year, having ended 2011 with a nice victory (see below). I have updated the calendars for FEBRUARY and MARCH. I also updated the HUMOR page. During the holidays I will also try to add more content to the new SOFTWARE page. Still looking for a picture of the class of 2011. And please verify your entry on the CONTACTS page.
12/17/11 - The West Central Rage beat the Tri Town Thunder by a score of 6-5 in Carrot River! Nice job!
12/15/11 - I am working on changes to the SOFTWARE page. I amp refreshing the selections for Windows and adding tables for Android, IOS and Blackberry. And work continues on the Calendar updates. I have just updated JANUARY. The Rage played last night and took it on the chin from the league-leading Saskatoon Quaker by a score of 4-1. (Which was respectable when you consider the opposition.) And our visitor count is less that 80 away from the 40,000 mark!
12/6/11 - I have just finished posting the obituary for Alice Humphrey to the MEMORIAM page. Our sympathy goes out to the family. The Central Rage juniors took it on the chin over the weekend as they dropped both games. I have started to update the birthday calendars. So far I've completed OCTOBER, NOVEMBER and DECEMBER. Visitors count stands at 39,867....... only 133 more to reach 40,000! NOTE - I have a number of email addresses "bounce" indicating that they are no longer active. Please check your CONTACTS information and advise me of changes that may have occurred. AND, still looking for 2011 graduation picture.
12/1/11 - "It's starting to look a lot like Christmas!". We finally got some snow on the ground last night (Although we have gorgeous sunshine today with above zero temperatures.) Since December official arrived at midnight, I have updated the HUMOR page with fresh Christmas-related material. Hopefully I'll have enough for one or two more refreshes before the big event. Thank you to the people who have responded with contribution to the humor page. Much appreciated. And I could use some more humorous words of wisdom for the top part of this page. And thanks also to those people who have reviewed the data on the CONTACTS page and provided updates where necessary, or just dropped a note to confirm that the existing data is still current. No hockey news until after the weekend. And I'm still hoping for a class of 2011 grad picture (with names please). And the visitor counter is now within 200 of the 40,000 visits mark. We'll make that by Christmas, fer shure!
I've had people ask me how they could help in the development and maintenance of this site. So here's what you can do:
1) Provide items of interest to schoolmates. Things like weddings, births, deaths, moves, etc. Or events such as sports, theatre, reunions.
2) Help with finding missing schoolmates (SEEKING page), correcting information (See item immediately below)
3) Humor/thoughts for sharing with others.
4) Sharing photos (town scenes, class pictures, team pictures, reunion photos, class-specific items which can posted to a class' page)
5) Provide missing information. Specific examples:
a) there are team photos in the PHOTOS section that are incomplete as far as players' names are concerned. If you have any information, it would be most welcome.
b) missing class pictures (I still have not got a picture for the class of 2004)
c) there are a number of entries in the NEIGHBOURS section for which I have no information. If there is sufficient information for a community, I am willing to set up a full page for that entry (See the JELLICOE page)
d) missing entries for the FEEDERS and NEIGHBOURS pages
6) More activity in the MESSAGES forum.
7) Suggestions/Feedback on the website in general.
Help
Lucille Lowes has been seeking contact info for Shelby Smith, daughter of one of the Royal Bank Managers during the mid to late fifties. Can anyone help in this matter?
This section is available to anyone seeking information. Just send me an email. R
The site is organized as follows.
All main pages are shown on the navigation bar above. Some of these pages serve as indexes to subordinate pages which contain more detailed information on a specific topic. Examples are the class index and the main Photos page, both of which have subordinate pages. To get to a page, click on its name on the navigation bar above.
To keep the content fresh I try to update as many pages as possible on a weekly basis. So visit on a regular basis or risk missing something interesting!
As an overview of what you can find where, let's take a page by page tour:
Activities - a page, which as the name suggests, points to local activities. And I am always looking for activities to showcase here <hint>. There are subpages to this activity.
Celebrations - an index to the months of the year, showing birthdays and anniversaries. Feel free to submit names and dates for inclusion. The actual dates are on the month's individual pages

If there is class-specific information, such as class reunions, this is the place to find it. Feel free to contribute material for your graduation class. I'd be happy to add anything you wish to send to me.
Contacts - a list of schoolmates showing information on how to contact them, e.g. an e-mail address. This is a great way to allow schoolmates to re-establish contact. Please consider adding your information. Drop me an e-mail and I'll glad add your data. I do not add any information without express permission of the parties involved!
FAQ - the Frequently Asked Questions page. If you have a question, look here first for an answer.
Feeders - a list of the country schools that provided students to KCS. People have started to send me photos and other information. As an example, check the Jellicoe data. Please notify me of omissions.
