RYAN Bonnie Lynne , On Sunday, June 21st, 2009, Bonnie Lynne Ryan of Wetaskiwin, Alberta passed away suddenly at the age of 54 years. Bonnie was born in Kerrobert, Saskatchewan where she received most of her schooling. The family then moved to Calgary, Alberta where Bonnie graduated high school. Education was very important to Bonnie. She went on to receiving her Hairdressing Certificate as well as a Psychology Degree and a Medical Services Certificate. Over the years, Bonnie was also a loving and caring Foster Mother to many children. Bonnie is survived by her loving husband Daniel; her two sons Robert (Judy) Ramsey of Hinton, Alberta and Stuart (Connie) Ramsey of Blackfalds, Alberta; as well, her five grandchildren, Kim, Ash, Rye, Devon and Ethan. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and spoiling them rotten. A Memorial Service for Bonnie was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Peace Hills Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, Wetaskiwin, Alberta with Captain Terry Cook officiating. In her 90th year. Passed away after a short illness at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Tuesday, July 14, 2009.
Beloved wife of the late Richard. Dear mother of Dick & Karen; Peter & Joanne; Jan (the late Brenda); Johanna; and Angela & Frank. Loving Oma of 13 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great- great grandson. Predeceased by her infant daughter. She will be sadly missed by her siblings in Holland.
She was a long-time dedicated volunteer of the Bowmanville Hospital Auxiliary.
Visitation will be held at the NORTHCUTT ELLIOTT FUNERAL HOME, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville on Thursday July 16th, 2009 from 7- 9 pm.
A Private Family Service will be held. Interment Bowmanville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations may be made to the Hospital for Sick Children.
